What it does?
An interactive drum machine that combines music production with computational intelligence to generate optimized rhythmic patterns and sound selections. Built with Python and powered by Clingo, it allows users to assign custom sounds for kick, snare, and hi-hat while maintaining a hands-on creative workflow. Using Answer Set Programming (ASP), the system analyzes possible combinations of drum sounds and rhythmic structures to determine the most effective arrangement based on defined logic and constraints. The result is a unique fusion of algorithmic reasoning, sound design, and beat creation.
